Sill chillin...

Hello my public...wanted to update you on my status.  Hmm...kinda seems like a dating website, right?

Here are a couple recent pictures of me.

The first one shows me with my foster brothers. I'm the good looking one with the snazzy collar in the middle. The next one is with me out near my foster mother's beehives.  Not sure why everyone is so scared of them.  They leave me alone- probably because I'm not foolish enough to stick my nose in the hive!

Anyway I've been a little bored around here.  I need a change of scene.  Don't get me wrong, I love my foster home and I really need a home with at least another dog, but I want a permanent place.  I sleep at the bottom of my foster mother's bed and cope well with being in the house with my foster brothers while everyone is at work or school all day. (shhh, don't tell anyone. You know those pictures with the dogs playing poker?! where do you think they come from?! This is how we 'cope'!) I've been sharing this beautiful fall weather with my foster brothers, but I'd rather share it with you.

So although I'm comfortable here, I'd love to discuss your adoption of me.  if you're interested, please let Denise know and she'll forward me your application for approval.

Ok so it's a stupid name...Ale Corny

So here I am. Yes my track name is Ale Corny.  Ok I'm thinking the ale part is ok.  Ale is good, or so my foster mom says it is, but CORNY?  Really? What were they thinking?! Anyway, I go by Max.  That's much more mature, manly, masculine, and cool.  Don't you think?

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I'm four years old and I'm a return.  I was in a home for about six months and after all kinds of training-yes I'm obedience trained- I was still experiencing separation anxiety.  Well I got news for you...that all disappeared when I arrived at my foster home. Do you know why? There are other hounds here! Isn't that cool? The one gets a little snarky with me, but I put up with it all.  Because, wow, I get walks here and they play with my ears and call me stupid names. I love it.  It's great.  So here are my credentials: I'm housebroken, I handle steps like a champ, I eat like a gentleman, I walk well on a leash and best of all I accept and give kisses.

So today I went to the greyhound picnic.  A lot of people wanted to adopt me but it wasn't the right time.  I tried to tell them it was the perfect time and their dog thought so too.  Couldn't convince them so I'm here waiting for YOU! Yes YOU to undergo my scrutiny and make me your forever dog.  The only criteria is that you have at least one other dog.  I like dogs (btw cats and birds aren't half bad either).  So let Denise know if you'd like me to inspect you and your other dog for me to adopt you.
